Serut Pencit

I've just arrived from lunch with my dad

I saw my mom was busy in the kitchen

She was very stubborn

Many times I advise her to relax

Maybe she's bored since that wheelchair becomes 

her main tool to walk

And I could understand

There are pencit on the table

Do you know pencit?

It's Javanese, which means mango

She scraped (serut) it, cut the chili,

also prepared the palm sugar

Mix all of it,

and...voila....

Serut pencit is ready

It tastes sweet, sour, and spicy

Super delicious!

By the way, it's more like adventure if we use sour mango

You can close your eyes while you eat it :-)
